What is the name of your company and can you tell us something about yourself?
My name is Sheriece Strickland and I have owned and operated Product Launch Results, LLC since 2006, an Internet Marketing Company. We have recently added Mobile Marketing to our services to help local businesses integrate this new technology into their existing marketing plan.
Can you tell us why you love WordPress?
WordPress is the easiest platform I have ever worked with and very versatile. I love the powerful plugins available to enhance the functionality and user experience.
What is your topic for WordCamp?
The importance of having a mobile friendly website and how to use simple plugins to make your WordPress site mobile enabled. The world is mobile and the businesses and companies that are early adopters to this technology will be way ahead of their competitors much like the companies that realized the importance of Social Media as a major part of their overall marketing plan.
What do you hope attendees learn from your session?
The importance of having a mobile enabled website for their company, the strategic marketing differences in mobile vs. desktop and what people are searching for, the ease in which you can make your existing site mobile friendly.
How do you use WP in your business?
Every website I build for my company or for clients is on the WordPress platform. We have used WordPress for eCommerce, Membership sites, Sales Pages, simple Landing Page to gather a list of subscribers, personal blogs to journal fitness goals and results, Gallery for Art, and much more.
