WordCamp Albuquerque Tickets Now Available! Really!

We had a couple of kinks to work out, but they are finally here. Grab your tickets before they are all gone.

Thanks for your patience, we’re looking forward to seeing you at WCABQ. Make sure you tell your friends you’re attending so they can join the fun too.

About karenalma

I've been part of the WordPress community since 2010, when I co-founded the Albuquerque WordPress meetup and co-organized the first-ever WordCamp Albuquerque. Over the years I co-organized four WordCamps in Albuquerque and spoke at events from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro to Phoenix, in both English and Spanish, including an early WordPress for Kids session in Albuquerque that I'm still a little proud of. I spent the better part of a decade at Automattic building the company's Talent Acquisition function from the ground up, and somewhere in there, life got full: family, work, etc. Now I'm back, still at Automattic and stepping into the role of Head of Operations and Events for the WordPress Project and genuinely glad to be here. I have a deep love and respect for this community and a lot of energy to pitch in and help make WordPress!

Well, we are still not quite there. Yes, I want to buy a ticket. Yes, I can get down to where I can order the tickets. No, I can’t do it with PayPal because while I do have a PayPal account, it wants me to supply my checking account routing number. I am in Santiago de Chile at the moment, no checks at hand. Why can you set this up as most companies do where a person can either pay with PayPal or select a credit card account for payment?

    Sorry, but….

Hi Tom, Thanks for the feedback 🙂 We’re checking on this and we’ll let you know as soon as we figure it out.

Hi Tom, Thanks for your patience as we work with a new and better ticket plugin for WordCamp. We’ve enabled the PayPal feature that allows you to pay using your credit card, without having to create a PayPal account. Safe travels and we’ll see you at WordCamp 🙂

Ordered tickets, seems like the hackathon participation is mandatory since it’s a required field and there is only one choice. 🙂 May want to make that a non-required field.
