Acacia is a full stack web developer, brand designer, and visual artist with a background in photography. Coding since 1998 and developing with WordPress since 2008, Acacia is an advocate for the Open Source movement and for diversity in tech.
As a one woman boutique creative studio owner, she has worked with clients in education, technology, fine art, entertainment, lifestyle, journalism, fashion, healthcare, start ups, and the non-profit sector around the world. A published author, Acacia helps developers become better designers and designers to become developers, believing that the best digital projects come from a synthesized skill set.
Acacia has spoken at the AIGA Design Summit 2019 (keynote speaker), Meow Wolf, WordPress Albuquerque Meetups, and local schools.
In her spare time, Acacia is an all styles dancer, produces electronic music, and enjoys playing PS4.
Elaine Thomas

Elaine is an engineering manager for a growing digital marketing agency. She also does WordPress development for a not-for-profit political action group. She has a background in broadband / telecommunications from her time working for a RBOC as well.
Elaine is a co-organizer for the ABQ WordPress Meetup.
Jamii Corley

Jamii is a web developer, co-working catalyst and entrepreneur. She is a co-owner of Southwest Cyberport, one of New Mexico’s first Internet Service Providers and Web Hosting companies. She runs the Ideas and Coffee co-working space and helps people build websites. She’s been working with WordPress since 2010 and has been involved in the local community helping out with WordPress Meetups and WordCamps since 2013.
In her off hours, Jamii hangs out with two mischievous black and white cats, and her Kindle. She enjoys traveling, learning new technologies, and capturing portals.
Karen Arnold

Karen Arnold leads the Happiness Experience team at Automattic, focusing on the support team employee experience: recruiting, training, onboarding, and career development. She has worked remotely for Automattic since 2012. Karen has spoken at a number of events including SupConfNY 2016, SDExpo Europe 2019, WordCamps in the United States, Nicaragua, Argentina, Colombia, and Peru, and various WordPress meetup events.
Prior to Automattic, Karen was a local business owner, creating WordPress sites for small businesses. Karen has been active in the WordPress community in Albuquerque since 2011.

Yvette is keen on technology that helps people tell their stories and has a never-ending enthusiasm for new ideas.
As a web developer at Authentic Web Solutions, she designs and develops WordPress websites for clients as a part of their digital marketing strategy.
In her analog time, Yvette hangs out with her cats, thinks about life, and works in her garden.
