Who is WordCamp for?

What is a WordCamp?

A WordCamp is a community-driven conference centered on WordPress. WordCamp Albuquerque 2020 will be held in CNM’s state of the arts facility at their Main Campus and will feature world class Speakers, yet the vibe of our camp will be friendly casual, and accessible. The material covered will be relevant to both avid fans and newcomers to WordPress alike. WordCamp also provides a great opportunity to get to know other WordPress users in your local community.

Just what is Contributor Day and who is a Contributor? Contributor Day is an opportunity for anyone in the WordPress community to help work on the WordPress Core. It’s a chance to meet face-to-face with people you work with online or welcome interested new contributors. Support the Open Source movement and the WordPress CMS by sharing your skills for the greater good.

What to Expect at WordCamp

If you’re new to WordCamp, you might be wondering just what to expect.

When you arrive at WordCamp Albuquerque, you’ll check in at the registration table located just inside the main entrance to CNM’s Smith Brasher Hall to receive a lanyard with your badge. Your badge is your key to getting into everything including the After-Party. Please do not lose your badge!

Doors open at 8am on both Friday and Saturday, and there will be self-serve coffee and tea to start the morning off right. The first session starts promptly at 9am in the main auditorium of CNM’s Smith Brasher Hall on both days.
