Born in Chile and currently living in Perú, Samantha Hare has been a Happiness Engineer at WordPress’ parent company Automattic for 3 years. Since March of 2019, she’s been leading a team of Happiness Engineers based all over America guiding team members on their own professional development. Her work at Automattic also includes helping to develop a project to expand Automattic’s support to 8 additional languages.
Samantha has worked remotely for over 4 years, out of which at least 2 years have been traveling around Canada, Europe, and the US while working. She loves to inspire other women to join the WordPress community and embrace the fantastic opportunities remote work can give you.
