Acacia is a full stack web developer, brand designer, and visual artist with a background in photography. Coding since 1998 and developing with WordPress since 2008, Acacia is an advocate for the Open Source movement and for diversity in tech.
As a one woman boutique creative studio owner, she has worked with clients in education, technology, fine art, entertainment, lifestyle, journalism, fashion, healthcare, start ups, and the non-profit sector around the world. A published author, Acacia helps developers become better designers and designers to become developers, believing that the best digital projects come from a synthesized skill set.
Acacia has spoken at the AIGA Design Summit 2019 (Keynote Speaker), Meow Wolf, WordPress Albuquerque Meetups, and local schools. She is a member of the WordCamp Albuquerque Team and Lead Organizer of this year’s WordCamp.
In her spare time, Acacia is an all styles dancer, produces electronic music, and enjoys playing PS4.
